Bushcraft / Survival
I teach the principles of Bushcraft / Survival to classes / groups of children across a half term or as an after school club. This helps build team working, grit and resilience. There is a crossover of skills and knowledge with the Forest School sessions.
The programme includes the 4 main principles of survival - Shelter, Fire, Water and Food

Mini beasts
Know the correct procedure for examining mini beasts safely
Able to name 10 British mini beasts
Able to accurately use a mini beast identification chart
Able to identify at least 5 British mini beasts they have collected and return safely to habitat
Tool use
Can use loppers, bow saws, knives, bill hooks and axes appropriately and safely
