I’ve worked in education for almost 25 years with the last 11 as headteacher in schools in both Cheshire East and Cheshire West and Chester. My personal philosophy of education is rooted in experiential learning.

 

As a keen naturalist, walker and ultra runner I can be found most

weekends following a road less travelled in Snowdonia, the Peak

District or Cumbria. I have also undertaken extensive Bushcraft,

Survival and Wilderness living training (see My CPD section for

full details).

to improve the opportunities for outdoor learning and Forest
